Folks my new WSM 22.5 should be here tomorrow and I was wondering if there are any mods you folks would recommed I install on it before I use it.

I would recommend the insert charcoal - cook ribs mod!

Nah. Just go for it. I did eventually install some eyelets from BBQ Guru. Other than that, you're set. You already have a built in therm, so no worries there.
 
Welcome to the WSM addiction Paul!
Your new WSM is gonna be soo dag-gum easy to use, you'll wanna get rid of your kitchen oven and any other smoker around.
And that Robert Clark from Perryville is a genius! Everyone has done his mod version over and over and over with outstanding results!

I agree, the WSM is good out of the box! Just add cc and meat.

Don't worry about mods until ya master it like she is!
