New to BBQ from South Alabama

Hello, I've had my WSM 22.5 for almost a year now. I probably have less than 10 cooks on it under my belt so far, but I am starting to get the hang of it! I've been cooking ribs and boston butts for most part and I am looking forward to getting some new ideas and techniques from the forum here.

I gotta admit you don't see the phrases "New to BBQ" and "from South Alabama" used in the same sentence very often. I thought everyone from bama grew up BBQing.
