NEW: Thermapen IR combines super-fast probe at one end, infrared temp reader at the other. The only catch--the open end of the IR reader means the unit is not waterproof and should be kept away from splashes and spills. Still, it might be right for you depending on your usage.

Not a bad deal at all, considering it has adjustable emissivity and includes a NIST-traceable calibration cert !
