Any Kid Rock Fans out there? Heard his new single today and I've got to say quite a song, took me back about 30 years, also to a time when music videos were becoming relevant unlike today. Anyway, been a fan for years and I'm really digging this new tune, going to order the CD later tonight.

Not a fan of all his music, but this one sounds good, even on laptop speakers, will check it out with better sound.
It's along the lines of All Summer Long, a favorite of mine.

Yea some of his older stuff is a bit rough, but I've enjoyed his music since he hit the scene; I think we've seen him in concert four or five times, great live show. What an interesting evolution in his music huh?

I would agree, along the lines of All Summer Line. I'll let you know what I think of the rest of the album.

It was funny, I have a friend who I grew-up with, known the guy since we were two (so for 45 years), I forwarded this to him and he totally got it. Took us both back to a time of not a care in the world, now we're grown-up and have to deal with adult bull#%(* LOL. Not as much about the girls just being young, out cruising, not a care in the world. Like I said I'm digging the song.

I can dig it, here's me in 1967, single, cruising around with the top down, and radio blaring. AM radio that is :)

I do like this song and his latest All Summer Long... Also he is a VERY talented Musician.
 
This is probably the least original generic popish songs I ever heard Kid Rock do. This could be a Mellencamp, Bryan Adams or any one of the new " pop/country " artists. Is his brewery in trouble? Does he need money?
 
I'm gettin' a Bryan Adams "Summer of '69" vibe from this. Never cared much for Kid Rock but I like this new song. I'm going to preview it in iTunes...might be a keeper! Thanks for sharing LarryR!

It's funny that your reasons for liking the song are my reasons for not liking it. At least it's not auto tuned.
 
Thanks for the memories. I grew up very close to a town known for its “cruising”. Great cars, great girls, we even had a car club. Think 60's. Damn I miss that sometimes…..
