P Paul K TVWBB Guru Jul 3, 2009 #2 Sure does. The clay pot option merely eliminates the need to use water. The clay material is the heat sink instead of the water. Paul

D DennisM TVWBB Pro Jul 3, 2009 #3 Thanks, I used a clay pot with the original water pan exclusively with my older WSM, but I now have the newer model with the much larger (deeper) water pan and wanted to make sure the clay pot works just the same with the deeper pan.

P Paul K TVWBB Guru Jul 3, 2009 #4 You're welcome. I personally like the clay pot option just to avoid monitoring the water. Paul
