Need Help... Does anyone know the year of this Genesis

There are some that have "feet" they are little squares on the corners. The "feet" are on the triangle side, making the flat side up when installed that way. It is an opinion thing for sure, but I use mine flat side up. I think the triangle bottom lets grease and fat run down better, but again, what do I know? Ha ha!

You can tell on the newer grates by looking at the contact points on them. They clearly go wide side up. In my opinion, it is Weber trying to use less cast iron in the grates while still creating the same cooking area.

I think of it like letting the grease drip down the triangular part, but perhaps I don't know what I'm talking about. Wouldn't be the first time!
