Need Expert Eyes on This...

Maybe it's the angle, but the blue one looks like it came from a 2 burner genny. The green one looks taller and more of what a 3 burner genny would have on it.

Alright, well after a nice solo drive in the truck through a torrential downpour, I picked the green one up for $60. Came with 5 pretty new flavorizer bars and a pretty decent Weber cover.

Wanted to see how the lid cleaned up when I got home and it was pretty good.

Would you do anything about these little spots? They’ll be under the lid end caps but not sure if I should do any kind of preventative stuff to keep it from rusting.

I’m with Bruce. Probably will be fine for a long time. I’d still dab some high heat paint on it. What I do is get a book of matches and use the torn out end as a dabber. Shake the can well and spray some paint (for about half a second) in the lid. Those are the world best free touch up tools!

Care to share the listing or info on where the blue one is?

It’s down in Illinois about an hour (Wilmette?)

The lady didn’t respond to me about when to come by today, but I still want to see if I can grab it. She wants $120 which I think is too steep…

I’m happy to take the trip down for anyone up this way that might want it
