My son had a date for homecoming, and he asked me to cook


 
That is without a doubt the sweetest thing i have ever seen... Hope my sons will one day have equally high thoughts of me.

Good Job. In this day and age it's great when your children ask you to get involved in their lives. That is a great story and a great meal!

Do you take reservations, I was thinking around 8pm Sat.
 
Saw this post the other day and just loved it. Just great to have that kind of father / son relationship. Hope when mine grow up that we can have the same.
 
I was mighty impressed by this, too! You must've been so touched that he felt so comfortable at home -- not many kids I know would have done that. You, sir, have raised a great kid.
