The Tip Top Tavern is near my son's apartment in Madison, very near the old Oscar Mayer headquarters.

Why am I posting this at TVWBB?

Twin 22's out back, preparing brisket for some of the entrees.

We didn't stop on out last trip, but definitely will in the future.

That reminds me of Chicago where I grew up with a tavern on just about every street corner. Be interested as to what they Q up, let us know when you go there.

Rich - Tip Top has been there a while. This is from their website.

I vaguely recall driving by there growing up, I never would have thought of going in back then.

Cliff - I saw the WienerWagon on the highway earlier this summer, but not this time. The menu has a tribute to Oscar's, but doesn't show much from the WSM's. Probably daily specials.
