My First Roadside Chicken Attempt

Tried the RSC recipe tonight.

Thighs marinated for almost 12 hours; sweet potatoes with honey and curry powder; zucc,onion,mushrooms and peppers with McCormick Spicy Pepper Medley


Was out of beer so polished off the last nip of Pusser's while the charcoal got hot.


I don't think I used enough charcoal (1/2 chimney of Kingsford Hardwood Lump) as I only got to 350 and had trouble keeping above 250 towards the end of my cook.


Was some tasty though!

Great job, not only on the RSC, but the sides. But I'm only gonna give you two out of five stars because your beverage planning was unsatisfactory.

Beer is awesome. No beer is not awesome. That chicken is awesome. None of that chicken in my mouth is not awesome.
