My EX6 Is Up and Running Great

Yesterday my Son installed the Darian Hofer supplied auger motor assembly and the new Weber supplied Thermocouple. My lungs are improved enough that I could sit and kibitz without dragging the Oxygen tank out to the garage. Just can’t exert myself much without O2. My job was answering questions as we worked without instructions. The process took less than an hour. I now have those two things plus a new controller. The test run went great. The ambient probe showed only a 17 degree difference ar 225 and Smokeboost settled at 195. My E7 error and temp control problems are now resolved.

The Thermocouple is the grill temp probe mounted at the back of the main cooking grate. The easy way to install it involves removing the pellet hopper.

Great to hear you're improving Lew. I've been off the O2 for about 6 months now. Carrying a rescue inhaler but seldom need to use it. Just need to exert effort in short spurts now. Hang in there!
