What are you cookin?

My wife suggested using something that I already have at home, which would be ribs or butt. I am thinking of doing something a little nicer, Rib Roast.

She wants a butt...HA! Sorry I had to

As for me, I have no idea. My parents and in-laws are 9 miles apart so I'll probably be in both places so idk what or if I'm even cooking as no one has said anything to me yet. Will keep you posted though.

We're having the outlaws over for brunch. My mom lives in another city.
Haven't nailed down the menu just yet but there will be bacon (currently in the Brine), home made waffles if we can borrow a friends maker if not french toast, maybe eggs of some sort & fruit salad.

We are having the Mother In Law stay with us for the weekend. Gonna smoke some ribs and my first fatty! Super excited. Probably make homemade au gratin potatoes and some veg to even things out

I will also be cooking for the inlaws. I am not sure if my parents will make it by yet or not.

The butts and ribs were only suggestions. I was told to cook whatever I wanted. Seems I just did ribs the other week I figured a roast was in order.

She has a "butt" and his name is Jason...although she generally uses a more colorful word than butt, which I don't think would be welcomed on this board...

My oldest daughter and her family are coming. I'm doing 2 butts, pick up at Sams on Thur., Grandmas potato salad, Grandmas coleslaw, and Grandma's Baked Beans. Since it's Grandma's day, as much as the girls, I'll be making her recipes and she can gab with the kids. This will be my first WSM smoke.

It's my daughter birthday party Saturday so technically it's not mothers day. I'll be booking a brisket and ribs. This will be my first cook for someone other then my wife and a few close friends. I'm a little nervous about the overnight brisket. I did a practice one a few weeks ago and it turned out fine. fingers crossed.

Just ordered rib roast at lunch.

Now my dilema is to buy a steak I can cook till it is dead

or slice one off the roast and cook it for freaking ever

for my brother in law.
