Me too.
I had dialed temp down to 240 and it stabilized fine. Left to run errands and got a message 2 hours later through Weber App telling me fire went out. Then message telling me shut down was complete.
Got home to find internal temp was down to 114 from 152 when I left house.
Obviously something went wrong. I won’t make the mistake of using this finely crafted smoker again unless I can be home to babysit.

I don’t know. Still had pellets in hopper. I just did a really good clean couple days ago because issue of not being able to get temp above 350. And it really was pretty clean then. I found nothing blocking airflow and very little junk in pot.
No idea what caused the shutdown tonight. Ribs are wrapped in foil warming up in oven. Going to pretend I stayed in food safe zone and eat them.

Man I wish I could get ribs like that. Bummer about getting the E3. You have to keep pellet grills clean, especially the burn area. I clean mine after about 10 non-messy cooks, and if I have a messy cook, I clean even if it's been the only cook

Grill was very clean going into this cook. Any cleaner I would have stop cooking at the half way point, clean grill, then continue cooking. I have never done a messy or fatty cook like a butt. Even used a drip pan for the ABTs I cooked 1 time.
My Buddy has a Pitt Boss pellet grill. It feeds any pellet he has tried and he abuses the crap out of it with minimal cleaning. Not 1 issue in the year he has had it.
If this Smoke Fire was a gun, it would called a Safe Queen…lol

That said, I think I'll keep my distance if Alec Baldwin is running an SF :)

I think a flamout can happen on any pellet grill. A week ago I would have added a sarcastic comment,... but it has never happened to me... but last week my pit boss 820 pro flamed out on a style of cook I've done a bunch of times.

Still sucks when it does.
