Monopoli and Puglia Italy

I really love Italy. I definitely want to share these photos but realized I posted my Rome pics in the “Photos” section. Please move that if you want to, Chris. I’ve been drinking a lot of wine 🍷. Ha.

Well…yeah. We thought it was the perfect time too. But mother nature had other plans. Extremely windy and unseasonably cool. But we are making the best of it!

the flip side is the summer heat and crowds. i'd still choose shoulder season, maybe mid to end of Sept. we plan on heading back next summer to Italy and maybe another country. post more food pics please! love the inspo.
 
Monopoli is a great sea town. Not very touristy this time of year and hardly any Americanos. Breakfast of cappuccinos and pastries 🥐 is like 5 euro total for two people. IMG_3456.jpegEspresso is 1.10 euro. Pizzas are about 7-10 euro in most placesIMG_3453.jpegIMG_3450.jpegIMG_3445.jpegIn some cases…wine is cheaper than water! 🤣🍷
