Monday night skirt steak

First day back to work after a mini beach vacation. Family asked for grill chicken and Brizilian Rice for dinner. Knew I needed to to stop at the stop so I decided it was steak night for me. I really planned on picked up a ribeye (as I have really been craving one), but when I saw this skirt steak marked down for $18 down $6, I could not pass it up. An hour salt dry brine, then some Carna Crosta before it went on the 600 degree grill.




Flipped.


Done


Plated.


What a great Monday meal.

First day of school for the kids and they asked for a repeat meal. Grilled chicken and Brizilian Rice. I was not letting the rib eye get away from me this time.






Also made some fresh green beans I got at the local produce market.
