Hey everyone. I literally slept through a great come up. I've been needing to get a new charcoal grill because my other one rusted out on me. I live in a townhouse complex with parking spaces for those who don't have a garage, therefore my neighbor usually parks his truck in the space by my house. So saturday night I go to work as usual and get home about 7:30am sunday moring and as I am walking past my neighbors truck I notice he has a 26.5 Weber kettle in the bed. It looked like it was in pretty good condition and only needed the vents and handles replaced, plus the legs looked pretty clean also. My neighbor collects metal to take to the scrapyard(you know where this is going). So given how early it was I decided to wait until later that afternoon after I wake up to ask what he planned to do with the grill, well that afternoon turned into me sleeping until 7pm and he wasn't at home when I got up. So I went back to work and when I got off that monday afternoon he wasn't at home again but he was when I left that evening but the grill wasn't in the back anymore, I assumed he took it off to put it the backyard. Today I stroll over there to ask what planned to do with the grill and neeedless to say he took it to the scrapyard. My heart sank when he told me what he did with that diamond in the rough!!!! He did tell me that the next time he comes across another weber he will save it for me.
