Melinda's Meatball Subs in CI

Luke P

TVWBB All-Star
Finally installed hardwood floors in our kitchen that has been a construction site for 2 months. In the process I shortedout the oven while moving it in or out. My wife, Melinda, said "you can just do the meatballs on the grill". Thats a huge vote of confidence to be in charge of her amazing meatballs. She uses equal parts ground beef, veal, and pork. Rolls freshly grated parm into each with a slew of other spices. Best meatballs I've ever had. Don't tell my mother this.
Pictures are horrible, but you get the idea.

Apparently the secret to building your perfect meatball sub is layering melted provolone - meatballs - sauce - more melted cheese. Delicious!

And the result of taking 2 days "off" from work.

Luke I'll take a sub..homemade meatballs. Doesn't get any better. Great job Bud! Floor looks fantastic.

Great looking cook. The floors are beautiful. I keep trying to sell sweetie on tile in the kitchen , but maybe hardwood is the way to go.

Thanks for the comments. Both were a labor of love.

came out really nice -both meatball & floors - what type of wood is that?

It's Acacia. Pretty durable for two boys to grow up abusing. Color on it is beautiful, with wide varying shades and natural "patterns".
