Meatloaf


 
Bbq sauce or ketchup on the outside? All beef or beef and pork? Looks hearty. Now I’m thinking mashed pots on the side with gravy.
This was ketchup, dark brown sugar, and some Coleman's mustard powder. Went all beef this time, 80/20. Did some egg noodles with a brown gravy. Will do some mashed tonight.

Yeah, free-formed on this one but then squared off in a 9×5×3 loaf pan and laid atop some Applewood bacon. Probably accounts for the sturdiness. The bacon hug helped too.

(Edit: So not really free-formed at all, lol...my bad. I compressed it at the end a bit with a sheet pan.)

Tbh I usually mix proteins (like beef and pork) and I almost never top with bacon.

Boatload of leftovers, so swing on by!
