After reading about all of the rave reviews of meatloaf on the WSM I decided to do it. I used my moms recipe that I grew up on and I've gotta say it turned out great! Here are some pics.

I also threw on some potatoes a few different ways to see how they would turn out. Some were great and some were a disaster, but that's why I did it, so I could experiment a little.

It's might not be necessary but I was following the procedure in the cooking topics area of this site as this was my first meatloaf smoke. It said to tent with foil loosely so I just wrapped it loosely with foil while we were waiting for the rest of dinner finish up.
 
The lowly regarded meatloaf strikes again. It's one of my favorite smokes, and one of my favorite sandwiches to take to work. Love meatloaf and yours looks good.
 
Great work Justin. I love meatloaf on the WSM; it's an easy smoke and makes the best braggin' rights sammies to take to work.

That meatloaf looks fantastic. Can you describe a little more what you did differently with the potatoes, and what you liked and didn't like?
