Maverick ET-733 - a quick setup

As much as I like the Mav 733, I don't find the setup particularly intuitive and the instruction booklet could be clearer.
I wrote out this guide for others who may struggle with setting it up.

SETTING UP MAVERICK ET-733 (DUAL PROBE REMOTE THERMOMETER)

Hint 1: Use an indelible marker and write "FIRST" on the back of the RECEIVER (the unit with the big screen).
Turn the RECEIVER on first. Hold the on button on the SENDER until it turns on, and sends a signal.
Hint 2: Make sure that the physical probes are connected to the correct slots on the SENDER.
This guide assumes that Probe 1 is in the meat.
Hint 3: The RECEIVER goes through a sequence of states during setup. Each probe is done separately.
Decide which probe to do first. You don't have to do both.
Hint 4: Words between double colons like ::SET:: refer to the buttons on the RECEIVER.
Hint 5: The setting mode shuts off after after a few seconds if you don't press buttons.

--- SETTING UP FOOD TEMP ON PROBE 1 ---
STATE 0: Turn on the receiver. You should be getting temp info for both probes if you are using both. See Hint 2.
STATE 1: Start
PRESS AND HOLD ::Set:: until receiver beeps. May take a second or more to beep. Top left will flash a 1 or 2.
STATE 2: Select Probe 1
::Hi:: switches between 1 and 2 (or ::Low::, works the same). Select "1"
Press ::Set:: to continue
STATE 3: Select Food (top of display)
::Mode:: (lightbulb) switches between "Food" and "Barbeque". Select "FOOD"
Press ::Set:: to continue
STATE 4: Select Food Details and Temp
Press any of these in any order.
::Hi:: raises temp setting
::Low:: lowers temp setting
::Meat:: to pick a meat word (it cycles thru a list)
::Taste:: to use preset temp for meat selected
Press ::Set:: to end
END PROBE 1
