Maverick down, looking for a replacement.


 
I'm a Thermoworks guy from way back. I have 3 Chef Alarms and a Smoke, which I LOVE. They offer the Smoke on sale at least a few times a year. I got mine for $80.
 
Got tired of replacing probes on the Mavericks. I've got a box full, all junk, not worth the frustration of losing a new probe right out of the box.. I caved and bought the Smoke a couple of years ago and I've never looked back. I have a couple of extra probes, too, bought on sale, but haven't needed to use them yet. I've got a lot of ThermoWorks stuff and given them as gifts. Buy once, cry once, and they haven't let me down yet.
