Match Light Charcoal

I've got six or seven 12LBS bags of the Match Light that's highly unlikely I'll use. You can't use this in your Smokers, only in your BBQ's. I use when we go to the Ball Park in my Smokey Joe, it's not bad once it's fully lit. It's also good in outdoor firepits as a base for wood, and also good in Santa Marias

Free to anyone in East Contra Costa or Stockton, just let me know a day or so in advance if you're wanting to pick it up in Stockton (work) PM me

If I was close buy, I would pick it up and throw it in my fire ring which is around an old tree stump I am trying to burn out. I am not a big coal burner guy, but if I did cook over coal, I would much prefer the blue bag stuff.

If you don't find any takers, I can see if there are any scout troops nearby. Matchlight works well for Dutch oven cooks.
Excellent idea. Troop 21 is not far from my house and it's likely getting to Camp Wolfeboro season

Scout troop donation is a great idea. I like to take a small bag of it on my motorcycle trips, and use it to light up wood in the campsite fire ring. Works great for stuff like that.

Exactly. When I used it at the ballpark parking lot (now closed) I used to make a pile on the cement, light it, let it get going good, and then scoop it up into my Smokey Joe. When camping, I would light it in a chimney until fully lit and then dump it into the BBQ. It gets a bad name, but it's actually not all that bad. I just have too much
