SWMBO wanted ribs today. She heard a new recipe and for her to want to try something new is in itself new so I jumped at the chance. We read a recipe on the Smokin Meat Newsletter where the chef mixed 2 parts blackberry jam with one part dijon then added the rib rub. They didn't turn out half bad -- thankfully they weren't as sweet as it sounds. They were darker due to the jam but all in all a tasty treat.
