Looking for wood

I am looking for wood chunk sources in Southern California. I am already aware of places like home depot and the other big box places. I also know about the place on Atlantic off the 710 but they don't seem to be open on weekends. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I usually buy small bags of wood chunks from BBQ's galore. 7# or 28# They have many locations in So. Cal. Otherwise E-bay search for having them mailed out.

Try California Charcoal and Firewood. Their website is www.calchar.com They're located in city of commerce. Should be real close to you. Also try DoItBest.com. They sell bags of apple, cherry, pecan, mesquite and hickory woods along with Chef's Best Royal Oak charcoal for a decent price. Great thing is you can place your order on the website and have it shipped to a local "Do It Best" store for free!

Again thanks for the replies. I tried Calchar but they don't seem to be open on saturday which is the only day I can get down there. I will give the other sources mentioned a try. Again thanks.
