Lid colors

My 2000-ish "special edition" Silver B has a mica green lid. Flecked kind of like a car's paint job.

Special Edition meant (i) two swing up tables, (ii) SS flavor bars (still going), (iii) stamped SS cooking grates, and (iv) special lid color.

OK, you are probably the one I originally got it from as well. Where did you come up with the color samples.
It's based on data that an archivist that worked at Weber for about 30 years compiled. I added to it based on some additional research I did as a side project. It's not fully comprehensive, and it's now outdated since I put it together at least 5 to 10 years ago. Here's the full list that I'd made. If I ever get some free time again for a side project I'll update it. :)

Also, we've (Weber) been historically very bad at naming our green colors. There have been many shades that we've simply named "green" but there's been variation in the hues. Mica Green is definitely it's own thing though.

How did I not see this thread. If I said mica black I was tongue tied. Green Mica is what I meant 🤦🏻‍♂️ that lady at Costco that had to park behind you probably is to blame! 🤣

Yep. I think the bottom is Mica Green that came on certain early Silver B's that also had dual flip up tables. The top looks like the typical Hunter Green on earlier models.
It was on a B with dual swing up tables, and had blown out SS flavor bars and stamped SS grates. IMG_9565.jpeg

Make sure you add in that "burnt orange" color on your next iteration. Thanks for compiling this.
