A few days ago we had single digit temps due to the vortex. Today it was beautiful -- so much so that I am in shorts and a T shirt! I just couldn't sit inside so I fired up the grill. One of my favorite things to do is take leftovers and use them as ingredients in a new dish. This one looks simple (and it is) but the taste was phenomenal! I started with some leftover rib eye steak, chopped, and seasoned it with Chef Merito's (Thanks again Tony!). Then I sliced an onion into slivers, a tomato in slices, stemmed some cilantro and minced some garlic. I went a couple trips around the pool with some Margarita mix, let it cook down, and I have the makings for lunch!

Excellent way to use up leftovers, Dwain! I love finding new and exciting ways to use up leftovers; almost like I've invented a new recipe! Oh, and by the way, why is the Maker's Mark empty?? I hope you had more....

I always have more Maker's Mark. Thanks for asking. That empty bottle is out of tiki torch fluid. SWMBO makes tiki torches out of the empties and we place them around the Big Deck when we enjoy warm evenings. Cheers!
