At 6:00, the wife decides she doesn't want to go out to dinner, so I'm rummaging through the fridge to find something to cook. Found some ground beef and decided on meatloaf. I usually make it out of beef & pork, but beef was what I had. Pictures not great, no Wolgast-like OMGs, but I haven't posted a cook in a while so here it is.
My standard indirect setup on the Performer using pavers because I'm too lazy to find firebricks. Dome thermometer read a steady 430-450 the whole time.
No beautiful shots of the virgin cooked meatloaf; I took this picture AFTER I served it. My wife thought it was great; she went back for seconds!
My plate. I cut up a cantaloupe and steamed some squash & onions while the meatloaf was cooking. I thought I did a pretty good job seeing as it was last minute and I had to use what was on hand.
