Labor Day Weekend Charcoal Sales?

Hello all,

I just got the Costco sales flier that goes from 8/25 to 9/21 and I didn't see any ads for K-Pro or the Kirkland Charcoal. Not surprising since if it is going to go on sale, it will likely be for just the Labor Day Weekend period. I'm going to Costco that Friday so I'll report back if it's on sale.

I normally buy meat on the holiday sales and stock the freezers with it.
I’m now going to pay more attention to the charcoal.

Walmart has em for 17.86 usually. Just an fyi that’s where I buy em. Lowe’s and HD use to have great sales but nothing great anymore

if anyone isn't aware, you can use the costco app to see in store inventory, which isn't possible on their website. that's how I checked just now.

edit: I looked for the closest one to yreka and found central point oregon. they have the sale for 4.50 off kingsford comp there.

Yup. That's the I go to. Thanks for posting that! I need to buy a few twin packs so I'll be in good shape until Memorial Day Weekend.

B&B briqs on sale for $7.49 at Academy Sports. About 42 cents per lb. Picked up a bunch as I build my yearly stockpile.

They also have 20lb bags of B&B Lump for $11.99.

WM had an insane sale on JD briquettes last week but they ran out of stock in ten minutes. It was $7 for a 20 pound bag. I noticed it right when I woke up and after I brushed my teeth it was over! Apparently many people who purchased were informed after the fact their orders could not be filled.

Just picked up three doubles at Costco, car was full of crap so, just enough room for the three! I’ll have to go back tomorrow for three more. That should get me through the winter.
