Knife roll bag

Got a 6" boning knife for Christmas and will pick up a carving knife to go with it. Looking for a roll bag to store those knives and maybe a meat fork. I'm thinking 3 or 4 slots that I can keep with my BBQ stuff - and only used for that. Recommendations

We vacation with another family at least once, but usually twice a year. My friend and I do all the cooking, except for usually one dinner out. After several years of complaining about the knives in rental houses, I bought some inexpensive Cuisinart knives and now bring them with me on vacation in this:

As Matthew said, it might have more slots than you currently need, but you don't have to fill 'em all. And if you end up expanding, you'll have space.

When traveling, I carry a small toolbox (or my larger one for big deals) with basic equipment. Chefs knife, two or three smaller knives, bayonet fork, instant read thermometer, kosher salt, pepper mill, small containers of various rubs, the larger box will hold gloves and more ingredients.
Anytime I am “invited” I try to remember the kit, I do need to get a pastry bag into both boxes, one never knows when you might be called upon to make Gougere!

It's hard to choose a roll bag from the description but I highly suggest that you pick a roll bag that has a separate zipper compartment for each individual knife. A good roll bag should also have at least one pouch for utensils. One company that I highly recommend is "bbqguys". Their products are high quality and they have been in business for over 10 years.
