Quick question for you guys to see if this is a good deal.....
The local grocery outlet (its actually called 'The Grocery Outlet') has 12# bags of Kingsford 'Hardwood' briqs for $8 each ---- seems like a pretty decent price - Home Depot has them listed at $15 online - but they also have a $5off $25 purchase coupon too so $20 for 36# of the hardwood briqs. Just a little bit more than the Costco $18 for 2X18# Kpro.... I've never used the hardwood briqs yet so I don't know what the heat or the flavor of it is.... I'm typically using KBB or Embers with lots of wood chunks on the WSM and kettle.... I haven't formed any snobbish bias towards any coals yet.

Which would you guys go for?
