Kingsford Charwood Review

I recently bought a bag of Kingsford Lump (labeled as "charwood") and have used it a few times now. Sadly, I do not recommend it. On the plus side, pieces are fairly uniform in size. Unfortunately, I'm finding rocks and/or pieces of concrete every time I cook. I won't buy it again. Anyone else used this stuff?

i hear it's been discontinued anyway. but i found it ok for slow and low, but not so good for high heat.

Roger that, but it makes a great 4th of July display!

Interesting - I had no sparks at all. Now the Harris Teeter lump I buy from time to time - kapow!! That stuff goes crazy. But it smells great.
