A few weeks ago you may recall I “loaned” a prime brisket to a buddy as he ran short of time when a family member made an unexpected visit.
Well, last night he arrived with the “return” but, was it a lowly prime brisket from Costco? No, no lowly prime brisket from Costco, it was a 15 pound beauty from Snake River Farms! I believe I will set that aside for a special occasion, maybe New Year’s Day!?

I was as near speechless as I get!

I ran out yesterday to run a pile of errands, one of them was the local auto parts store. On the way in, I remarked to an elderly couple "ya'll must be lost," with OK plates. Turns out they were looking for the automatic transmission dipstick. No, that's not it, it's not over here....let's see how my Google-fu is this afternoon. Shoot, your car doesn't have one, you have to go in through the wheel well and pull the fill plug on the end of the transmission. That's not happening in the parking lot. You'd have thought that I was the Oracle or something.
