I couldn't resist this baby after I saw it online in the classifieds. Mint condition I got it for $400 with cover and they sell here for around $950-1000 it is only a year old. Can't wait to fire her up even with my new found love for charcoal. I predict a charcoal grill in the future to complete the collection.
Does anyone know how this is "Special Edition"? Maybe it's just a clever emblem.

Great looking machine and even a better price. I think my gasser has the same control knobs, I don't use it a lot, but I think they are the same. Nice score, I bet that first cook will taste great!

I believe "Special Edition" refers to having stainless steel grates and a painted lid.

If I'm not mistaken it goes like this:
E-xxx painted lid with cast iron grates.
S-xxx stainless lid and grates.
EP-xxx painted lid with stainless grates.
