Kick Ash Basket for Summit Kamado and Charcoal

I use a Weber Smoky Mountain charcoal ring. It’s cheaper and this photo proves it allows complete use of fuel which is the point of charbaskets

Sorry for the old bump but I ordered the kick ash basket for my WSK. Have you decided on best configuration? Do you go KAB at the bottom and the Weber stock grate above it or vice versa?

Apologies for the late reply (I don't seem to have a ton of time to get on the boards lately), but I've mostly used the KAB at the bottom, and just not used the stock Weber charcoal grate at all.

Does the diffuser plate sit on the WSM ring, or on the original tabs?

It can be used in either location.
