Kettle Stainless Steel Grate

Over the last few years I have purchased two(2) 22” SNS SS Easy Spin Grates for my Weber Performer Deluxe & Weber Master Touch Grills and to this date I remain one-happy SNS Customer:)

Slow N Sear sells grates made of 304 with the flip up door on one side to go with their charcoal basket products: https://snsgrills.com/collections/grill-grates-griddles/products/easyspin-grill-grate-22

I have not seen these in person, but from the photos and user reviews, they do not seem as substantial as the Hunsaker ones, and they’re certainly nothing like Mark Baron’s products. I feel like I saw SNS touting the thin bars as a “feature” in one of their articles or blog posts, but I don’t remember exactly where I saw it. I’ll let you all imagine the face I’m making at that notion…
Agree with that assessment of SNS-in one of their own reviews "Spins nicely. However, I though it would be a little more heavy duty like the Weber gourmet grate." Owning a set of RCP on my Genesis I can attest to them being substantial -and if Jon gives Hunsaker a thumbs up they must be good!

While not directly related to the original post...

A couple of years ago I dug deep and spent for KG's charcoal grate for the vintage 26" Bar-B-Q-Kettle. Worth every penny and then some; I have no idea if they're still available, but on the off chance they are and that someone here might be in the market...

Buy. It. Now.

Last time I looked on Mark Baron’s Killa Grilla Square site, he only had three grates left, sized for Medium and Large Big Green Eggs.

I gifted a set of Hunsaker grates (cooking and charcoal) to my cousin for his kettle, and the grates are quite nice! Not quite as substantial as Killa Grilla’s, but more than adequate for heavy use.
