One other thing....I remember in season 1 of BBQPM, Johnny says that he doesn't waste his time making rubs, that he just buys commercial rubs because "people already spent a lot of time perfecting them".

And now it is 2013, and you can buy a set of OFFICIAL Johnny Trigg Rubs and sauces! Made me LOL first time I saw it and thought back to what he said in season 1...

I'm sure no competition BBQer would ever spread misinformation, right?

This reminds me of the time a buddy took his little cousin fishing on Lake Guntersville. My buddy is one of the better fishermen out there and they won the tournament. When asked what they they were using his little cousin didn't even blink an eye and told tem he was using XYZ when in fact they were using ABC. There's ALWAYS a secret ingredient left out or a completely different concoction used to throw the other competitors off the scent.
