Well it's time to put the bad behind.

Good news: my replacement WSM arrived today!

Bad news: there was some damage. There were some nasty dents in the rim of the bottom of the center section.

Good news: called Weber customer service - after 7 PM mind you - and they're shipping a replacement on Tuesday. I wasn't going to be able to break it in this weekend anyway.

I'll get back to smoking soon. Need to start working on those low sodium rubs and sauces!

I say get a big long chain and run it through one of the three holes in the lid, through the access door and through the vent in the base. Then even if they do grab it youre gonna hear it...like a giant wind chime.
