it's been a week for Lamb...

Hi Folks
Had a week off work redecorating my sons bedroom whilst he enjoys a holiday with a couple of pals (cruising around the Mediterranean of all places!)
But it gives me a chance for mid week BBQs

first up a small batch of lamb chops - rubbed with cumin and olive oil - then simply grilled on my JumboJoe


then last night we butterflied (de-boned) a leg of lamb
marinated in red wine vinegar, sweet paprika, olive oil, garlic and rosemary
cooked indirect on the Performer for close to 30 mins


then grilled over the high heat for a few mins to colour up


on the plate with grilled courgettes (zucchini) and onions plus some saute potatoes with mini beetroots

I've been waiting for the lamb season to start, and they are now starting to arrive in some stores. Might bbq lamb this weekend too if the weather is good
 
Two great lamb cooks. I really like the looks of the chops. The boned and butterflied leg is one of my favorite cuts of lamb.
 
That's beautiful Chris. I'm always envious of people cooking lamb. My wife doesn't like lamb so I have it maybe once a year. Cheers!
 
I gotta try doing some lamb. I like the looks of the chops I've been seeing in Costco. Your post is an inspiration for me to go for it!
