Italian sausage with R, G, J & S peppers

Tonight's dinner consisted of "Special Italians" from Sendik's. (Special, because they stuff'em with tiny chunks of provolone cheese and green peppers, very tasty)...

...red and green bell peppers, Jalapeno and Serrano peppers...(also added a few green onions + thin sliced garnet yams [not pictured] )

First time I grilled Serranos

<span class="ev_code_RED">SUPER HOT</span>When everything was cooked good, we cut up the green onions, and sliced the red and green peppers then added thin slices of MORE Provolone cheese to a few nice fresh brat rolls... grabbed another brew

You have sold me on the CI grates. What do you do for maintenance? Clean before, after, both? With what? They just look so clean, hot, and ready to cook the **** out of a bunch of meat and peppers.
 
Jim, seriously man...how many hot peppers does your family consumer yearly? Each plate has a couple, which is cool.

Ernie, no maintenance required.. i simply leave the crud on the CIGs after a cook then the next cook's hot coals will burn most of it off then i brush em clean. I think Larry Wolfe does it like that, think that's where i got the idea from. These grates are awesome, and they fit all my grills

Mr. Dechaine, i am the only pepper eeter in this home, liz will not touch em ('cept for bell peppers and poblanos). The hot one's are all mine

Ya gotta stop, I'm gonna have to stop workin to even come close to your Awsome cooks!
 
Great stuff Jim. I hope you have a nice big garden to grow your own peppers. Otherwise, you're making someone a rich farmer.
