Wow, that looks awesome! How do you get the fire to have flames when you are searing? I just got a kettle and haven't been able to get the lump to flame like that yet (only 2 cooks). Is it the wood chunks?
 
Tony nice place Berdoo good weather and views of the mountains, I was stationed there in the Air Force way before I learned how to BBQ. I miss that weather over where we live now. Anyway you out did yourself on that pork loin and sides cook looks very good, Love to see the finished pulled pork project, and the smile on your little girls face.

Like Noe said sear with the lid off. Plus It was a little windy and the lump along with peach chunks got a nice flame going.
