A friend of mine has been looking for an inexpensive grill and I spotted this on CL just three miles away. Twenty five dollars was the asking price and I didn’t haggle. The photos are how I received it. “ER” so that puts it at 1996. I’ll do some light sanding and oil the handles but that looks to be all it needs with the exception of the small white end cap for the leg which Weber is sending gratis. I e-mailed my friend the photos. I sure don’t need or have room for another one but in a way, I’m hoping he says he doesn’t want it. Yes the tool holder and tools came with it.

That grill wasn't used much at all. Either that, or the previous owner took darn good care of it (which is apparently obvious). Great deal, and one of the best look vintage 18.5s I've seen.

Well be careful what you wish for. My friend e-mailed me and said no thanks, they have now decided to look for a 22” OTG with the swing up grill. To tell you the truth, for $25.00 I’m not mad at all. I liked this grill since I saw it and Nancy just told me, “Keep it, it’s cute”. Who am I to argue? I just gave the tool holder to the neighbor I laid the other Weber goodies on and he’s happy. He now has something to hang the tools on I gave him earlier. I have no idea where I can put this thing but I’ll be ordering a cover for it tonight. I have some Tung oil laying around so that should take care of the handles. Weber customer service is awesome as usual and I should have the missing cap for the leg by the end of the week, gratis. So now we have ANOTHER grill. Oh boy………… I think.
