YES a real easy and inexpensive way to go!
 
Timmy, You can get the water heater jackets at Lowe's and or Home Depot if you have one near you. Many here use them. You can also check in the WSM mods forum for more ideas.

Sweet...I could not find it online at HD. I'll send my wife there on her way home from shopping...she'll appreciate that. I never realized hwo hand the insulation would be until 18 deg F and breezy today in S. Illinois.
 
That is what I used. Works great. Have pictures at photo buckett just tring to figure out how to get them here.
