Indoor Plant Care

What is your most trusted online source as a guide for plant care?

Or if you insist that I read a book rather than playing online what is your favorite book? But I often wake up with a book in my lap.

My Wife started out with BH&G and branched out into pinterst etc.

Once upon a time, I spent several years working in a garden center/greenhouse and I have retained most of my plant care knowledge. I've currently got over 50 houseplants in my collection. Everything ranging from cactus, succulents, 7 foot tall ficus trees, cycads, vines, clovers, orchids, and many other plants. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have! If I was going to grab a book to have in my hands, this is a pretty good one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1465463305/?tag=tvwb-20

Don't bother with indoor plants if you have indoor cats. For reasons I can't figure out, cats feel the need to dig up indoor plants

Barb is pretty good with indoor plants, she has three African violets that are over thirty years old and going strong. She also has a barrel cactus that is over 100 years old started out the size of a small apple and now weighs over 100lbs. been in her family since the 1920s.
I wish that damn thing would die because I have to bring it into the house every fall because it's a low desert cactus and wouldn't tolerate our freezing winters. Sucker is a bear to move.

Thank you! I ordered the book that you recommended, which hopefully will negate me from pestering you but if I get stuck I may reach out :)

It was a couple years ago when I took interest in plants and one of my purchases was a Saguaro cactus; it got me to thinking that it could be a terrific gift to a young couple or even a youngster who was interested in plants. It's awesome that you have the family cactus, aside from the strain of moving it.
