Igrill2 Users I Could Use Your Input

My wife surprised me with an Igrill2 and I want some input from other users. I have an 18.5 WSM. The Igrill user manual says not to attach it to a hot surface. Where do you guys have it when in use?

I have my wsm in on the deck so I just have it on the rail behind the smoker. It comes with some little magnetic disk, I presume so you can stick it somewhere and the igrill2 will stick to it. So far I love mine.

This is way after your post but I picked up an Igrill 2 recently and used it yesterday for a 16 hour cook ( a butt). I stuck mine to a metal pole on my grill shelter. The Igrill 2 is awesome.
