icky bbq weather means putting on your slippers

to most ppl. I just wore my flip flops still. ok, lets set the scene.

it's around 6:30 or so. it's a cold wet Saturday morning up at the cabin. very cold for this old cali guy. my phone says it 38° outside. burrrrrr.......(take off flip flops you idiot and put on your warm fuzzy slippers). ya every been out in the ocean when the skies opens up. its like nothing you every seen before. you can't even see your hand in front of your face its raining so hard. this ain't like that but close.
I just look up how much rain we had on Saturday. from 6 am to 6 pm we got 1 3/4 inches. that's a lot. oh, were cooking again. on w/ our show. burr, raining, cold (cold and burr mean the same thing but I just wanted you to know it was really cold).

Great rainy day breakfast. Sop a bit of the waffle in the runny egg yolk. Take a bite of bacon. All will be right with the world.

I'll let that Canadian syrup go, (seeing how you're in California)... It's Vermont or go home around here! J/K
 
Nice looking breakfast. I give you a lot of credit for cooking outdoors in the rain....I think I might've just caved and cooked in the house. Well done.
