I will just leave this here

Yeah it's definitely not my style but it will be fun to do some grills with it and see how it works. If it was a first generation I'd be interested in fixing it up.
The price was right. I certainly won't fault you for playing around with it.
Tom is looking for some black durawood at least a couple slats. Looks like that green grill has some.
Yes, it has black durawood although the bottom tables aren't present in the picture. I'd love to have the grill and it's only across town from me. Which Tom?

What do you need to make a High level restored 1000? With what you already have.
I need a good frame and a good lid. The one I have has a faded Platinum series lid and a frame that the original owner drilled holes in the frame for bracing instead of tightening the frame up the right way. At this point I need a grill in decent shape that I don't have to drive two hours to get or pay more than $75 for. Otherwise, it's just not worth it to me anymore.

I thought you had a skyline in good shape except the lid was faded.

I think the hardest part is finding a good grill with the lid you want. I can always find a red or black 1000 in good shape but I'd have to pick up another grill for the special lid.
