I will just leave this here

I am tired of waiting. Prolonged rain and very high humidity has stalled my rehabbing. I need to at least spray a couple end caps for my current rehab but humidity has been minimum 70% for days now. It is supposed to dip just below 65% this afternoon and I am going to give it a go. Am I going to be sorry? I usually won't spray paint unless levels are below 60%.
For a small project why not do it in your basement? If the AC is on and you're running a dehumidifier it should be OK. Don't tell anyone but if I need to hit a couple small pieces with a rattle can it's what I do :D

My basement is finished. Not super nice, but not bare either. If it was bare cement, I wouldn't hesitate. But, I don't think a dusting of black spray paint is something I want to introduce down there. ☹️

EDIT: Wow, I just looked and it seems Rustoleum HH Ultra can be sprayed up to 85% humidity.

PRODUCT APPLICATION (cont.)
APPLICATION
Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area such as an open
garage. Use when temperature is between 50ºF (10ºC) and
90ºF (32ºC) and humidity is below 85% to ensure proper
drying. Priming is not recommended. Do not use on metal
directly exposed to open flame or in direct contact with food,
such as a grill grate. Avoid application in very windy and
dusty conditions.

Light coats and you should be ok.

I did a thing. Didn’t have much time today, but I couldn’t wait to get after these!

That slate grey is “Black Mica” per Weber. That’s what the 2 I’ve picked up decode as on the S/N lookup site.

Something is off here 🤣

I was pretty happy to get full asking price for the Q I listed just shy of two weeks ago! Nice older (than me) guy that was pretty stoked to get a Q! I felt bad afterward thinking that I should have thrown him a 10er back to buy him a thermometer for it, but I sounded like he was planning on it anyways. I held firm to my price just to cover the $145 photo speeding ticket I got while picking up the 'free' grill....

I was beginning to worry with no 'bites' for almost two weeks.... but he contacted me last night and picked it up this morning. I figured I had priced it 'reasonably' based on what was showing on CL/FBM/OU --- most of them weren't even cleaned - some missing tables - one missing the lid handle....

I'm gonna leave the ad up for a while and see how long it takes for another 'interest' response out of curiosity.
I was happily surprised to get another inquiry on the grill tonight - wanted to pick it up tomorrow ---- two weeks to actually sell it - another week to get another response..... It just goes to show that you just need to be patient and someone WILL buy it if you price it right.

Got my 1# propane refill adapter today! I just couldn't bring myself to pay $6-10 for a 1# bottle when I can get 20# for $10 --- I am down to ~1/2 a bottle now on my torch and have had stress/anxiety about what I was gonna do once it ran out. $3.60 on amazon for the adapter!!!! Down from $8-10 usually. I figured if I filled ONE bottle I'm still waaaay better off. I've got 4 empties that I will fill when needed --- just filled up one to live on the Performa so I don't have to move the hose between it and the Q (not that I use the gas start all that often anyways...) and it looks 'right' with the green bottle on there (matches the green kettle). Just a quick first attempt at filling and I only got ~2/3 full - I'm sure if I let it go longer it would have been fuller ---- but it doesn't really matter since I can refill it at anytime now.

Of course, after ordering one for $3.60 ---- THIS one pops up for $3.25 WITH four brass caps..... wish I would have seen that earlier.... I can't imagine there is that much difference in the adapter itself and a set of four caps runs $6-7 on their own.

If you use 1# bottles much --- its silly not to have one of these around at that price.

I have one of those. And yes, if you leave it on longer. Like several hours, it will Fill it up fully.

This side burner on this spirit does look as though it was made by weber and it seems to fit perfectly on this Spirit, but it is on the left side and I have never seen this specific model of side burner before. Is this a custom job or did Weber actually sell grills like this one. I am thinking it came off another Weber grill model and was put on this grill. But it looks like it is missing the diffuser as well.
