I usually hit them with my pressure washer before I take them over. He doesn't seem to care much however. Tim doesn't do the blasting. He has a young kid doing all the blasting. Tim does the powder coating part of the operation. He did mention he is going to have to raise his prices a little this year. I don't think it will be all that much however.

I’m going to ask him if I made an appointment if he’d be able to do them while I’m there since it’s a pretty good drive for me. I’d gladly even pay an extra to save the time/gas.
 
I'm still baffled by how Josh was able to 'swoop' that Q from me..... I KNOW I had beaten him to respond to it, but never got any response from the seller...

I don't know if I was quick enough to beat Josh to this one --- I responded at the 22 minute mark....
I've been wanting to play with a Q to see how good they are -- $10 seems like a no brainer.

But thats okay..... I still picked up two Qs yesterday --- but I really wanted the trifecta!

Interesting stories..... The first grill was just up past Josh's house - lady gave me the address (no phone #) - got to the address and it was a townhouse development with buildings A-N and 'units' 1-4...... She never gave me a building or unit #...... Walked around for ~25 minutes - talked to neighbors asking ---- no luck. I stopped by at Josh's on the way back (was planning to anyways) and thank god we were able to contact her thru FB (FB is banned from my phone) so I wouldn't have to make a second trip out there! So I don't really feel bad that Josh scored my #3 Q for the day....

Second pickup ---- following google - turn left onto x street - your destination is 300 feet on the left.... I was a bit baffled because I saw THIS as soon as I turned onto x street....

I naturally assumed that google was wrong, but as I got 300ft further I saw the Q sitting in the driveway....

All in all --- I'll say it was a pretty good pickup day! A third Q would have been cool --- but I'm okay with my two.
