So is there any knowledge or data of the history of Weber and Snap-On partnering on grills? I’ve seen a few lately that say they are Snap-On edition. With 20+ years in the auto industry, I know putting that sticker on something seems to triple its value…

I'd pay $70 for that one in a heartbeat, especially if it has the other Summit 9mm grate. The propane tank is a bonus. Snap-on contracted with Weber back in the 90's to make a batch of promotional grills with their logo embedded under the porcelain finish of that red lid. I assume the grills were given to their dealers as gifts.
