I loved this cook...

Thanks everyone - Made the same meal a few nights later, too!

John, Mike, Bob - I love those olives - I always buy two jars as Costco seems to drop them for a few months. Usually havea few while firing up the chimney!

As for the "project" - I'm hesitant to use that word because it sounds like I'm doing it myself! I only wish I had that skill. I did the demo, but we hired someone for the build. We are in a material delay unfortunately. We are using clear cypress for the decking and the mill is giving a 2-3 week window for 16' lengths. So will be just a frame for a bit. I'll show some finished shots for sure!

Thanks again everyone!!

Bringing up this old post...some of you had been asking about the deck and I have a pic to share. Decking is cypress, railing system is cedar with aluminum spindles, stain is TWP Almond - took a long time as a result of some issues with contractor and scheduling...but all ended well. Grilling area not tight yet (looking to do a small arbor next to deck), but we are enjoying our updated outdoor space! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Turned out great! You'll want to protect that deck with a drip pan, grill mat, etc. Hate to ruin it with a burn mark -- it's too beautiful!
